The church, consecrated in 1154, has a façade composed of three horizontal registers: the middle register, with three semi-circular bays letting light into the nave, separates two levels of arcatures. The decoration of this millstone building, with its very sober architecture, is limited almost entirely to the play of light on the projections of the wall underscored by its buttresses.
