The region, located between Cap Corse and Balagne, owes its name to the mist (nebbia in Corsican) that often hangs in the air in the early hours of the morning in wintertime. But Nebbio is above all a land of vineyards. Low dry stone walls criss-cross its landscapes dotted with sheepfolds. It also has some charming hilltop villages, guardians of the fertile Aliso valley.
