The chef in question is the passionate Brad Redding, and his ‘table’ is a tiny restaurant in the centre of this pretty market town. It’s a highly personal operation, as Brad cooks his overtly seasonal tasting menu for around a dozen diners. There is technical skill on show across interesting, generous dishes that reflect the locale well – and the friendly service is nicely paced. Both bread and flavoured butters are made in house.
