La opinión de la Guía Michelin
Having been around for more than a century, Poortman has evolved from a café-style eatery into a proper restaurant where authentic memories add to the friendly atmosphere. Dutch classics such as veal tongue with pointed cabbage and hazenpeper (hare stew) with red cabbage are prepared with just as much skill as international specialities including ceviche or the celeriac-based dish. The dishes on the menu are certainly hearty but in no way lacking in finesse – the game jus, for example, is testament to this. At Poortman, flavour reigns supreme!
