The early bird gets the worm; you really need to come early to get a taste of this restaurant’s famous beef soup – it tends to sell out before 11 am. Local gourmets fall in love with the hand-sliced Tainanese beef in a beef bone stock that is amber-coloured and deeply flavoured. Dine-in guests ordering beef soup are also entitled to all-you-can-eat steamed rice, or braised pork rice with pork rind and peanuts. Try also beef or offal stir-fries.
