La opinión de la Guía Michelin
This restaurant takes its name from the parish in which it is located along the banks of the Douro, from where it enjoys superb views. Following his return to Portugal having worked in leading restaurants abroad, chef Dárcio Henriques embarked on this project, which sees him working with ingredients sourced from the length and breadth of the Douro. The cuisine here is showcased on two tastings menus (one of which is vegetarian), and includes dishes such as Portuguese sardines with a potato and pepper millefeuille, and poached sea bass with a delicious cauliflower and beurre blanc purée. The perfect place to unwind, given its setting in a delightful hotel.
