In this small village of Upper Savoie that used to be the French capital of raspberries, foodies will find refuge in this low-profile inn. The plush, Belle Époque-inspired restaurant has been entirely refurbished in a contemporary vein. Following in his father’s footsteps, chef Hubert Chanove concocts dishes that cater to modern tastebuds, with creative notes inspired by local produce and wild herbs and flowers picked in the surrounding countryside. His dishes generally revolve around a season or an ingredient (crayfish and fish from Lake Geneva, game, morels, black truffles, etc). The Bistro is open for lunch (Wed-Sat and only by reservation).
