It’s a family affair at this restaurant specialising in locally raised chicken and obanzai: the father prepares the à la carte dishes, the son the yakitori, and the mother attends to customers’ needs. Every morning the son visits a poultry farm in Shiga Prefecture to purchase and dress whole chickens by himself. The speciality of the house is the white liver, a rare part of the chicken, and back liver complemented with the bitter flavour of cacao nibs.
