La opinión de la Guía Michelin
The name pays a small homage to this Portuguese nobleman who played a decisive part in several battles during the Restoration War. The restaurant enjoys a certain prestige as well as a good location in an old house that has been restored. It boasts three intimate dining rooms combining classic and rustic decorative detail, one with an open fire, plus a large function room upstairs. Dishes with a distinct traditional flavour can be found on the à la carte, alongside several tasting menus. Make sure you try the “lagareiro”-style baked cod and the exquisite roast kid!
