Hostess Daniela Jaun and chef Pascal Melliger (partners both professionally and privately) put their heart and soul into running this pleasant restaurant, nestled in a cellar space with a beautiful vaulted ceiling. The chef cooks modern cuisine with vim and vigour, but also finesse; plus he has a knack for coming up with clever combinations. He uses select produce (preferably produced regionally and sustainably) to prepare an evening set menu comprising four to six courses – a vegetarian version is also available if you pre-order. When it comes to wine, you can rely on the charming and extremely committed young owner to help you choose – her recommendations from the interesting selection are excellent.
