"Brasserie Deluxe" is an apt description of this restaurant in the stylish hotel La Réserve Eden au Lac. The atmosphere is relaxed; the space is upscale and elegant – the focal point is the green-tiled open kitchen. The large windows overlooking the lake also deserve a mention. A highly professional team presents classic Italian, French and internationally influenced dishes. At the helm is Marco Ortolani, who has previously worked at La Trattoria Enrico Bartolini in Tuscany and with Alain Ducasse in London. His CV also includes time in Hong Kong. The house-made ravioli, for example, delivers bold yet harmonious flavours – perfectly al dente and filled with a delicate buffalo ricotta farce flecked with finely chopped herbs. Service is adept and, in addition to an exceptional wine list, there is a terrific selection of cocktails.
