For over 20 years, this joint has been serving authentic Northern Guangdong fare, in particular recipes from Shaoguan, but with influences from the Hakka and Yao ethnic groups. The umami-loaded dishes tend to be sour and spicy. Popular with drinks, the signature "duck five cuts" is made with duck head, neck, wings, webs and chins – these are fried, then braised in a savoury sauce.
