This bistro wedged between Bastille and Lyon railway station serves a bighearted, no-nonsense score rich in nostalgic flavours. The ingredients, such as ‘triple zero’ jumbo shrimps from Nantes, Kintoa pork or monkfish caught by small fishing boats, are allowed to shout their name. The interior is equally simple and authentic: tiled floor, red imitation leather benches and wooden tables. Bags of substance and atmosphere!
