Claudia and Manuel Ressi bring warmth and dedication to the running of this charming restaurant on the main square. The cuisine showcases select regional ingredients, which are presented in a kind of hybrid concept. On the one hand, there are the "Wirtshaus-Klassiker" à la carte (eg beef soup or Gailtal spare ribs); then there is the "Bärenwanderung" set menu with creative, modern dishes such as "mountain water – Kärntner Lax'n (trout), baby leek, quiche, peas, sprouts". You can also choose individual dishes from the set menu. The restaurant has two dining areas: one distinctly traditional small space and a more modern area, plus a nice terrace in front of the house. Der Kleine Bär located directly opposite has three inviting, nicely done out guestrooms. They also put on cookery courses and have an online shop – much of the produce available is made in-house.
