There’s an air of relaxed conviviality at this charmingly rustic restaurant, which sits in the former smokehouse – beside the kitchen garden – in the grounds of Hampton Manor. A seat at the counter means you can join in the buzz of the kitchen, but in summer it's hard to look past the charms of the greenhouse. The food celebrates seasonal produce and, while dishes may appear simple, they have a hidden creativity and harbour some punchy flavours. The small wine list offers interesting natural, biodynamic and orange wines.
