A stone's throw from the Arcades de Céret and the Sardane Fountain, this bistro (previously restaurant Can Jordi) has been set up by Kevin de Porre, who mentors its young chef, who hails from Alsace. The traditional, thoroughly French cuisine is made completely from scratch, and accompanied by a fine selection of local wines. The chef lovingly prepares pâté en croûte, serves up a tasty house-made sausage with smoked mashed potato, and enhances his chocolate mousse with a dash of olive oil and a pinch of fleur de sel. The restaurant also ages its meats on the premises. The no-frills decor is rustic; the terrace and air conditioning are an added bonus.
