The popularity of this place is down to the pleasant combination of café and brasserie, the great location in the centre of the old town – and the delicious food. In this centuries-old building (in which it started out as an inn in 1911), in a charming, understated decor, guests enjoy dishes such as beef tartare, pasta, risotto or coq au vin, and then of course there is the house speciality: mussels. Sandwiches are also available at lunchtime. In addition to wine, they serve beer from Belgium, where the owner and his wife lived for a time. The terrace in front of this building in a pedestrianised area is also a nice feature. Tip for motorists: parking at the Rathaus-Parkplatz 50m away.
