Cheri Bibi is named after the hero of Gaston Leroux's eponymous novel, which was turned into a popular TV series in the 1970s. The chef of this trendy bistro is Brittany-born Adrien Witte, formerly a financier, who has turned his passion for food into a career. The chef's dishes, which are designed to be shared, are based on top-notch local ingredients and strewn with uninhibited and flavoursome ideas, together with nods to his international background: mimosa eggs; grilled sweetcorn, oyster mushroom pickles, peanuts from Aquitaine, shiso and crispy chilli oil; line-caught mahi-mahi, pil-pil sauce and roast aubergine. His professional partner welcomes guests with a smile. Choose a bottle from the intriguing selection in the wine shop.
