The Prince of Wales Hotel (1927), an extraordinary edifice set in a unique location, is made entirely out of wood and boasts a bell-tower nearly 9m/30ft high. The massive bay windows command a unique and breath-taking view over the glaciers and the majestic Lake Waterton, which it surveys from its headland. Visible for miles around, English tea is served every afternoon in this hotel, reminiscent of a Swiss chalet.
