The chances of history gives us, today, the possibility of comparing the Romanesque style from the Rhine and from Burgundy in this building. It was constructed on the highest point of the upper town, and restored in the Baroque style during the 18C. The 12C crypt and the beautiful . tympanum of the Lion's portal were cleared in 1916 after the bombings. In the adjoining cloister, there are two flamboyant style galleries.
