The Oceanogràfic, the largest aquarium in Europe, is located in the heart of the City of Arts and Sciences. Its displays of marine life are specific to each of the Earth's main climate zones: the Mediterranean; tropical and temperate (turtles and grey seals outside and a superb tunnel-aquarium on the lower level); the Arctic (beluga whales and walruses); the Antarctic (penguins); and oceanic (tunnel-aquarium in which rays and sharks swim freely). Several daily shows are held in the dolphinarium.
