Discovered by chance in 1926 and equipped with only one small opening, this cave has escaped damage to the strange, convoluted shapes of its stalactites and stalagmites through external erosion. Crystalline formations cover over one-third of the 500m/1,640ft-long cool, humid gallery. Cleverly lit by flickering lights, these amazing natural cathedrals are particularly bewitching and mesmerising.
