This museum owes its existence to a family of collectors who lived here in the 18C and 19C. The many rooms of the four-storey house are decorated with period furniture and objects, most of which come from the mansions of Trieste. The first floor showcases the 14C Venetian masterpiece Trittico di Santa Chiara, while the Tiepolo rooms on the second floor exhibit a large collection of sketches and ink drawings by the master.
