This unusual bosque de piedras (rocky chaos) stands on the left bank of Río Santa, near the village of Ticapampa, where countless petroglyphs and small pre-Incan cave sanctuaries were discovered. The rocks and walls of this lunar site, located at an altitude of 4 290m, are much appreciated by climbers. There is a refuge where you can spend the night.
