La opinión de la Guía Michelin
The Roc de Chère, overlooking Annecy Lake, is a limestone hill set between Menthon-St-Bernard and Talloires. On this headland, Mediterranean and Boreal flora, as well as many amphibians, reptiles and butterflies, cohabit within a 200ha/494-acre nature reserve. Close by, in a walled property, a funerary chapel houses the remains of French Academy member, Hippolyte Taine (1828-1893), who lived the end of his life in Menthon.
