La opinión de la Guía Michelin
This Buddhist temple was built in 1645 by the powerful feudal lord, Maeda Toshitsune, as a tribute to his brother-in-law, Maeda Toshinaga, who founded the town of Takaoka. A stunning example of Zen architecture in the Edo period, the huge structure that is both sober and elaborate houses several buildings linked by a covered gallery. The most remarkable are the Butsuden (national treasure) and its amazing inner structure, and the Hatto (national treasure), a pavilion devoted to Maeda Toshinaga.
