Built on a hillock above the Dordogne, Fénelon Castle, whose foundations are 14C, underwent numerous transformations in the 17C. Today it has been restored to its former glory. Admire its three surrounding walls, residential buildings and towers covered in stone tiles, as well as the beautiful double staircase. The interior charts the history of furniture from the Middle Ages to the Empire. Note in particular the fine collection of weapons (15C-18C) and the tapestries evoking Fénelon's work.
