Situated on the harmonious square to which it has given its name, this cathedral is adorned with an attractive Renaissance portico, a rose window and a 13C mosaic. Inside, note the attractive altar cross painted on parchment applied to wood by Alberto Sozio, frescoes by Pinturicchio and the funerary monument of Filippo Lippi. Finally, in the apse, there are frescoes by Filippino Lippi which depict the life of the Virgin.
