Sousse Medina

La opinión de la Guía Michelin
The medina in Sousse has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since the late 1980s. Surrounded by a well-preserved 2km-long wall, the medina has been restored and is popular with the many visitors who come here every year to stroll along its paved streets lined with white and ochre-coloured walls. It has retained some fine buildings, such as the Great Mosque and the ribat, although the souks have lost much of their authenticity, with most of the shops and stalls now selling souvenirs for tourists.
