The Angel Pharmacy houses an exhibition of objects (pots of blue glass, enamelled faience, drawers for dried plants, containers for preparations etc) which once belonged to various dispensaries, such as the Royal Eagle, Black Elephant and Golden Lion pharmacies. It is also home to a collection of medical and pharmaceutical books dating back to as early as the 16C. Finally, its interior layout and furniture provide a good example of the 19C, the period when the present pharmacy was built.
