An unusual visit invites us to discover the "well" where the ice from the River Negre was stored during the winter for sale in the summer. Blocks of ice measuring 120 x 70 x 15cm were stored in a circular underground vault built in the 17C and accessible via an underground corridor. An exhibition explains this formerly lucrative business.
