On display are paintings by Braque, Picasso, Klimt and Matisse, but the focal point of the collections is devoted to Swiss art from 1850: major works by Ferdinand Holder, Félix Vallotton, Cuno Amiet and Daniel Spoerri, modern artists, and Old Masters such as the Vierge aux fraises (Rhenan school, c. 1425) and the Madone de Soleure, by Hans Holbein the Younger (1522).
