La opinión de la Guía Michelin
The Simplon road, which leads straight to Italy, skirting the mountainside, may not be the most audacious in the Alps, but remains nonetheless the most majestic. At 2 005m altitude, the Simplon Pass, with its belvedere, enables you to pick out the summits of the Bernese Alps, which are visible between Schinhorn and Finsteraarhorn (the highest point in the Bernese Alps - alt. 4 274m), as well as a slim portion of the giant Aletsch Glacier.
