This prestigious modern art museum enjoys a location on the left bank of the Gudenå. It was founded by Asger Jorn (1914-73) - a major post-war painter and founder of the famous CoBrA group - to house his own collection. This includes around 400 of his paintings and works by other painters such as Léger, Picasso, Miró, Ernst, Le Corbusier and Dubuffet. A major collection of 20C Danish art is the icing on the cake.
