Natural Bridges State Beach is named after the arches hewn out of the cliffs by the Pacific Ocean. The natural bridges themselves eventually collapsed, creating islets now populated by seabirds. To the rear of this beautiful beach, the eucalyptus forest is a sanctuary for the monarch butterflies that congregate there by the thousands from October to February.
