The 14C town hall is located in the heart of the Rynek, a vast sloping square, each of whose sides are over 100m long. With Gothic architecture, it is decorated simply with a Renaissance attic. Next to it, the most typical bourgeois or historical houses are the post office or Kamienica Oleśnickich, at no 10, the former neo-Classical guard post occupied by the PTTK tourist information office, and the buildings at nos 3, 31 or 27, nowadays occupied by the hotel Pod Ciżemką.
