Undertaken in 1985, the restoration of this monastery abandoned in 1926 is exemplary. A rectangular building (1696) embellished by galleries and loggias with twisted columns, its original style (due to its builder Constantin Brancoveanu) has been respected down to the last detail. Also restored, the church is decorated with fine 18C paintings. Small adjacent museum.
