From Saas-Fee, take the Alpine Express cable car to Felskinn, before continuing the journey up on the Metro Alpin underground funicular (alt. 3,500m). From the upper platform of the revolving restaurant - the world's highest - savour the spectacular view. At the summit, explore the Pavillon des Glaces, Europe's highest ice cave, hewn from the Fee Glacier. A maze of galleries and tunnels graced by ice sculptures, works of art and "son et lumière" effects.
