Situated at the western entrance to Ribeira Grande, this beautiful beach of grey-beige sand stretches towards the cliffs. Isolated from residential areas, it retains a very pleasant wild aspect. A popular swimming spot, it is also a favourite playground for surfers of all ages and abilities, who come here to try out the beautiful rollers before enjoying a drink at the friendly Tuká Tulá café.
