This cultural hotspot brings three institutions together into a single site. The ultra-contemporary building is the work of architect Christian de Portzamparc, who designed an edifice composed of three separate interlocking parts: a horizontal parallelepiped on stilts (Museum of Brittany) into which an inverted pyramid (library) is inserted, and a cone topped with a dome (science centre).
