So if you are looking for nightlife, head for the area (on the Route du Gosier), where the ad hoc establishments are centred. The quarter is also worth a visit by day: don't miss Fort de Fleur d'Épée, its military history today softened by a pretty garden adorned with flamboyants, and the marina waterfront with its bobbing boat masts.
