Do not hesitate to enter the sanctuary modelled on a basilica. Inside, you will admire the fine vaulting over the central nave, made of wood like the dome, and a richly carved iconostasis. However, the icons and mural paintings are the most noteworthy. Many of them are the work of Dimitar Zograf, the brother of the famous Zahari (1810-53).
