This Renaissance building with a Baroque façade is worth a visit for its frescoes in the dome, painted by Correggio and depicting the Conversion of the Evangelist. The frescoes in the arches of the chapels to the left are by artists from the Parma School. The Renaissance cloisters of the convent next door are open to the public.
