These two buildings, one resembling a stone amphitheatre and the other featuring glass columns, are the work of the Catalonian architect Ricardo Bofill. They are connected by a semi-circular façade in the neo-classical style. In the centre of the square there is a sculpture and fountain in the shape of a disk burying itself in the ground, Le Creuset du temps.
