Set in a former monastery, the Archaeological Museum takes visitors from the pre-Romanesque period to prehistory. On the lower level, the refined art of the 9C Kingdom of Asturias is revealed: altars like that of Naranco, bas-reliefs - often with an Oriental influence, openwork windows, columns and so on. The oldest relics are in the upper gallery. As you leave, do not miss the façade of the Monastery of St Pelagius (18C).
