An imposing fountain graces the approach to this elegant two-storey neo-Classical structure clad in travertine marble. Ground-floor galleries frame a central courtyard and feature Greek, Roman and Egyptian antiquities, West African sculpture, pre-Colombian pottery and an extensive array of Asian art, including lovely jades, porcelain and Tibetan bronzes. The upper level is devoted primarily to English and European painting and decorative arts from the 18C and 19C.
