The largest urban zoo in the United States is spread over pleasant woodlands in a laudable effort to recreate the natural habitats of its guests and favor their observation. The most spectacular enclosures include the Jungle World tropical forest and the World of Darkness which acquaints the visitor with nocturnal animals. The sealion pool has been entirely redesigned and the bear, gorilla and tiger enclosures remain firm favorites.
