The Bhagat haveli houses some well-preserved paintings on its external façade and in its courtyard, depicting processions, the god Krishna and his gopi (milkmaids), a steamboat etc. The bedrooms on the first floor are decorated with pretty frescoes, including one of a woman playing an accordion and another of a man carrying his dog on his shoulder, which very much reflect the European taste of the 1930s for anecdotal scenes.
