In the Clermont style, it dominates the town. Its irregular shape and tufa stones give it a sober appearance, adorned only on one side of the square tower with twin blind windows and an attractive entrance door. Not far from there, the Norman cathedral, although tumble-down, has preserved an attractive Clermont doorway.
