From Place Stanislas, its main façade is inspired by Antiquity. The other façade, looking onto Place de la Carrière, is more simple. The Arch, in imitation of the Arch of Septimus Severus in Rome, was built from 1754 to 1756 in honour of Louis XV. There are monuments on the left by Héré, and to the right, Callot.
